上海音乐学院中提琴教授 中国著名中提琴教育家

曾任上海音乐学院管弦系教授,中、小提琴教研室副主任, 上海音乐学院学科带头人,中国音乐家协会、上海音乐家协会委员代表,国际中提琴学会会员。

是我国第一位专职中提琴教授,也是解放后新中国培养的第一批音乐家、中国第一代“女子四重奏”(俞丽拿、丁芷诺、沈西蒂、林应容)之一。

1939年11月出生于四川重庆。 1957年毕业于上海音乐学院附中小提琴专业,1962年毕业于上海音乐学院管弦系。1985年作为访问学者赴澳大利亚塔斯玛尼亚音乐学院进修中提琴演奏与教学。
沈西蒂从事演奏和音乐教育四十多年,在教学方面取得了很大的成就,培养出一批优秀的中提琴教师及演奏人才。她的学生在国内外著名乐团担任中提琴首席和副首席,在国际国内音乐比赛中获奖。她曾获上海市“育才奖”、上海音乐学院“优秀教师”、上海音乐学院“院长奖”、上海音乐学院“贺绿汀基金奖”和上海音乐学院“优秀共产党员”等称号。并享受国务院特殊津贴。
       Prof.Shen Xidi is a renowned concert artist and professor of Viola in China. She teaches at the Shanghai Conservatory while holding positions as the Vice Executive Chief of Violin /Viola Teaching and Research Office. Shen is a leading figure of the Shanghai Conservaru, and the representative of the Chinese Musician Association and the Shanghai Musician Association .
She is also a member of the International Viola Society. Shen is one of the leading professional viola professors in China , And is among the first generation of musicians trained after the Cultural Revolution in China. She is a member of the first Chinese Female Quartet.
Shen was born in Chongqing, November 1939. She graduated as a violin performance major from the attached middle school of Shanghai Conservatory in 1957; later she received her Bachelor’s degree in Violin from Shanghai Conservatury . In 1985, she studied viola performance and pedagogy in the Australian Yatarcimaniya Conservatory as a visiting scholar.
With forty years of performing and teaching experience, Shen has helped an incredible number of viola performers and teachers. Her students hold principle viola positions in major orchestras both in China and abroad, many of her students are also concert artists and prize—winners of major competitions. She has received the following titles of merit :Shanghai Municipal Award for Pedagogy ; Award of He Luding Fund ; Outstanding Teachers Award; Dean’s list Award and Outstanding Member of CPC (presented mainly by the Shanghai Conservatory). She also received a special subsidy from the State Council.
