博士，华人女作曲家协会理事，上海音乐学院副教授。

她致力于电子音乐与传统音乐的创作以及音响意识的研究，其作品常结合音乐素材和电子媒介的处理，而产生独特效果。她在国内外音乐节、展演、比赛中发表多种类型的作品、论文及专著。

Li Jia, is a director of CWCA (Chinese Woman Composers’ Association) standing committee, a visiting scholar at CCRMA, Stanford University, and an associate professor in Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She has devoted herself to composition of electronic music and traditional music, producing many works of unexpected and unusual combinations of materials and media. Her compositions have been performed by invitation in China, German, Austria, Korea and United States, such as Yu—i—Ya, Twinkling Light over Water and other compositions. She has written articles about use of synthesizers and spatial audio in music composition.
